The Open Source culture beyond the computers.

I read a note about an italian scientific, The Dra. Capua, who discovered a genetic sequence of the influenza (Bird Flu), instead of sell that sequence to some research lab, she decided made the sequence open, for public access.

It seems like everything indicates that in many headings of the scientific research there are ties for the interchange of particular useful data to the humanity by interests.(Chinese labs humm! humm!)

It is already time that the model of free software be used in many other branches of the applied knowledge.
